    well i just updated. it was not ics. it was just an update to android 2.3.6 kernel 2.6.35.7-i9100pbvkl2
    i will see what changes it brings.
    the first one i have noticed is that the home screens can be scrolled in a continuos loop

    Ah! 2.3.6 I remember it well. Smooth & quick with good battery life.
    Everything that ICS hasn't got.
    Don't get me wrong, ICS brings a lot to the party, but when it comes to a pleasurable experience it's not as good as GB.

    I've just done this through kies, only difference i can see is the homescreen loop, nothing else yet..
    At this rate ICS will be another 4 or 5 months
