    No ICS on Kies yet?

    I am at work so cannot look, is official UK ICS available for upgrade via Kies yet?

    Not seen any posts, so I assume not.

    Not on Kies yet, but I've been using the Polish download via Odin from SamMobile and very pleased with it. Don't expect some great changes to Gingerbread. Biggest change I made was to change to Nova launcher.

    According to TechRadar:

    "ICS for Galaxy S2 will be available today in Europe, including Poland, Hungary, Sweden and Korea & gradually roll out to other markets."

    However, it seems the UK won't have to wait too much longer to get the same treatment.

    Samsung told us: "Samsung UK can confirm that the roll out of Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) on Galaxy S II will be available from week commencing 19 March, however the availability of software upgrades in the UK will be dependent upon each network's own software approvals process."

    I think O2 are the only company so far that have approved the software but they themselves have announced it will be late March, so no doubt the roll out will be from this coming weekend or next weekend onwards (the same thing by my definition, there has been a lot of discussion about this one).

    How do you make calls?

    I'd put money on no-one in the UK getting an ICS update via Kies today at least, probably even by Friday.

    Edit: This thread is going to turn into a list of people who don't have the ICS update.

    I don't think you mentioned it on your other thread re battery loss (apologies if you did) but is that the Polish version?

    You also said you didn't get on with it. Is that still the same or has it improved with use? - unlike your batteries
