    Post Reporting Posts

Just a quick request that people please do use the report post button if they feel a post is inappropriate in any way, this includes personal insults, swearing, SPAM >.< and anything generally just plain stupid that doesn't belong.

Also if they think a post might be in the wrong place on the forum let us know via the report button and we can get it moved to the correct area.

Just makes moderating a whole lot easier!
Had a check of the forum over the weekend while I was inbetween bands at the festival and there were 5 pages of 'new posts' to look through! No way I was getting through all that on 3G lol

    Thanks guys an gals

    Hi.
Regarding spam issue; I have read this announcement: http://samsunggalaxysforums.com/announcement.php?f=4
As administrator on two forums, I can relate to this problem, and to addition to those first 5 posts that are scanned by anti spams system, you can ad manual approval from admins or moderators of first 5 posts, and remove option to start a topic until user gathers at least those 5 legit posts.
You don't have a lot of posts daily on this forum, so I don't think that it will be that big problem for manually check each post.
But, as I can tell, I haven't seen any spam (yet) on this forum, so I guess that system is working OK, and admins and moderators are doing their best to keep forum clean from this annoyance.
Keep up the good work guys

Apparently there has been a spam problem recently causing precautions to be taken to stop new posts from new users. This has been catching many new members out, such as myself, who can't post despite the forum telling us we can. The only way of posting is to reply to other posts like this one using "Quick reply" - "Go Advanced" does not work. We can't even report a problem to admin over this issue as the contact form is blocked too!!! This is causing a lot of frustration and causing people to hijack threads in order to post (likely) off topic questions asking for help. There is no instruction in the new member section of the forum explaining how to get round this problem, leading to speculation that it might be fixed by a number of things such as filling in more profile fields, or making more reply posts, or is it just time that needs waiting for? Who knows? I wish someone would explain!!
I've got a headache and eyestrain ... one day all will be fixed!
