    SIM contacts problem

Hello, has anyone had a problem deleting contacts from their SIM when using an ICS leak? I can delete contacts from my phone, but if i delete from SIM, the contact stays there. If i try to add a new contact to the SIM i get a message saying SIM memory full. I only have about 40 contacts on it!
Also i was abroad and got a local SIM card and get the same problem, funny thing is that i put the new SIM in and the contacts list already showed all my contacts on the SIM, basically the display list from the UK SIM.
Can i access and read the SIM from my laptop somehow and manually add and delete contacts?
    Thanks

You can read and write to your sim card using your laptop with a sim card reader:

Your experience of contacts appearing after inserting another sim card is odd.
Are they in fact linked to your Google account?

Your S2 is linked to the Google market via your Google email account.
you would need to go to your Google account to edit your contacts in there if you don't want them to follow you.
Alternatively you can go into Contacts > choose single figure outline at top of screen >menu >Contacts to display > Choose which you want to display from: All contacts/gmail/SIM/Phone/Customize...

Hello guys, this post is not related to the SIM card but for some reason I can't post a new thread with my problem...maybe you can give me a hand with this....
    Hello Community,
I have a weird problem with my Samsung Galaxy S. All of a sudden the Home button and the two others on the sides have stopped working. The screen is properly working but I can't go backwards or navigate because the only buttons this mobile has, are completely useless now.
I haven't drop the phone or anything unusual so I'm quite lost in this. I need my phone to work so I'm pretty screw with this situation.
Is anybody around with the same problem? Any good soul who could lead me to solve it?
Please, I will send you a piece of carrot cake if you help me with this!!!
    Thanks a lot!

Power off phone, remove battery and SIM card for 10 mins. Then retry to see if you still have the problem.....

ok back to what the actual thread is about!
my problem seems to have got worse. phone was showing same SIM contacts no matter what SIM i put in the phone. Phone contacts would show extras if they were on my phone only and it still wont let me copy to the SIM, says it is full.
so, i deleted all my phone contacts and rebooted...oops... no contacts on SIM, none on phone, all gone!! thank you for CWM backups... so restored, got my numbers back. Phone only, all my numbers, SIM, no numbers at all, ok thats fine i will copy them to SIM. No.... SIM card full, full??? it is empty!!!
Google, well i deleted my google account from phone, cant access market at the moment as no account. checked my google email etc. online, no contacts, no email, nothing at all, totally empty.
Problem - phone is still not reading the SIM properly i guess, still does not allow me to export numbers to it and still says SIM is full when it appears there is nothing on, any ideas?

i still have to get a SIM reader to check SIMs on laptop to see if there is anything on them, might download and try KIES as well but that is hardly reliable!!!
    thanks

    To Guille
I do not appreciate you stealing my thread!! You may have a problem posting a new thread but that does not mean you can hijack someone elses and then totally change the subject!
I posted my thread as i have a problem and hopefully people will read it and maybe have a solution. what you have done is change it to a different subject and some people will reply to that and the thread will then change away from my problem and it is my thread and i dont get any answers.
RichH - why are you replying to someone to has hijacked another users thread?

Could we please stick to the subject of the thread. thank you

I used Kies yesterday and it correctly showed my sim contacts so worth a try. You can move them about and save or delete them.
I have around two or three hundred on my sim but just display them from my phone not sim/google, so all good.

Hello sferg.410, instead of Kies you could try using MyPhoneExplorer - Android Market. Here's the link to the android market if you want to check it out.

It won't solve your contacts problem as it sounds like it's phone related but it's supposed to better than Kies.
