Yes, I got the download to work again, after following tufftoad's instructions on clearing cache: Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Select Market and then you can clear cache from there.

I've tried this myself but it never gives me the option to clear cache. Also mine doesn't have Market anymore, just Google Play.
