Is there a way to reset the SWYPE dictionary back to original?

I have Gingerbread UGKG2. When I first started swyping I'll admit I didn't really know what I was doing. I'd correct a word and if it said "would you like to add 'es' to the dictionary" (or whatever I had typed in) I just said yes. Now it keeps putting in these non-words and I can't get rid of them. I've seen the threads where people point out where the dictionary is found in other O/S's but not this one. I've also seen people post that you just highlight the word and you'll have the option of deleting it from the dictionary, no so on my phone...

You could try settings > applications > manage applications > all, find swype in the list and clear the data.

Haven't tried it myself, though, and you'll need to configure your swype settings again.

EDIT: to delete individual words you've added, type in that word, highlight it with the text selection markers then press the swype key - the one with the blue line and hand. Swype will ask if you want to delete the word.

Menu > Settings > Language and keyboard > Swype

Scroll down to Reset Swype's dictionary, or tap Personal Dictionary then the minus sign to delete individual words.
