    S2 and ongoing email problems

    So what is going on here. Despite trying everything in the book and all the well meaning efforts of other members I have only a compromise email system on my 'state of the art' samsung S2. There really is no excuse for this Samsung after all the hype and thousands of people parting with their hard earned cash. How about an immediate upgrade to the software that will resolve this problem and what's more get it piped as a download direct instead of poncing about with Kies!
    To say that I have spat my dummy would be an understatement, I wish to goodness I had stayed with the HTC products. My Legend beats the proverbial out of the S2, it just ain't so big that's all.Disappointing to say the least....

    I don't understand what problem you have. I use K-9Mail and it picks up and sends from several accounts without problems.
    So I don't think it's a S2 problem....If it was, none of us would get email....

    No problem here with sending and receiving emails on my SII.

    If you tell us the problem your having, one of the members should be able to help.
    Samsung Galaxy SII GT-I9100. Stock ICS LPT 4.0.4, Rooted with CF-Root. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, 16GB, Wi-Fi, Jelly Bean 4.1.1.

    I have an S2 galaxy android 2.3.5. I am accessing my email using the basic application that came with the phone. I have a gmail account and my corporate account. My company uses kerio and kerio plugins for Outlook.

    The problem is when I am on travel and using my phone to do email, short messages go through with the text missing. If I type a longer message, it goes through. It seems to be some sort of header issue (or outlook incompatibility). The text shows up in iMail and on web mail, but not in outlook.

    Any ideas?

    Yeah, whatever? You must be of the younger generation. Didn't you read line one of my post?
    Fact is, I've followed all directions to the letter and mail still disappears suddenly.I'm getting duplicate mail
    on my desktop whereas I didn't before.The only way I can get mail at all is by having different accounts for in
    and outgoing mail, a sort of hybrid system,as advised by wiser heads.

    had my s2 for 2 weeks.

    2 shop set ups, 3 hours to tmobile help, factory reset, firmware update

    still won't set up email properly - only about 10% get through to 'phone, they disappear as soon as viewed, before I've had a chance to read

    no manual settings are offered to set up email account

    Please can anyone help - this is letting the 'phone down.

    I too had 2 years of HTC use without any problems.
