Urgent help please email outgoing

Hi Guys

Suddenly can't send emails receive them fine funny!! its smtp AOL port 587 require sign in ticked as it should be i get the connection error on wifi and 3G they just sit in my outgoing box.

Please help need to send emails doing my head in

Have you tried restarting the phone. Sometimes this fixes some odd problems.

Sorry wrong forum i have a galaxy s lol, but sure its the same??? Anyone? Restarting makes no difference

Have you tried another email client (such as the excellent K-9 Mail) and let it try and auto-configure based on your domain during initial setup?

I can normally delete emails, sitting in my in-box, however the odd few times, nothing I do will delete them. any ideas
