    Hi, potential SGSII new owner...

As the title suggests, I'm hoping to be the proud owner of a SGSII come March, when my current deal ends. Couple of questions though, the first one is on behalf of a friend who has just purchased a SGSII on the Orange network...

1)My mate is having trouble opening PDF's which are sent via his work gmail account. We both work in print and customers sometimes send files that have a number instead of a word for the file name, e.g 1346231.pdf - when he tries to open the attachment, it just goes straight to the phone dialer and tries to call the number instead of opening the file. Any solutions would be much appreciated.

2)My question is related to wifi calling. I believe the T Mobile U.S version of the SGSII has a wifi calling option in the latest Gingerbread update, but is there any chance of the same thing coming to the T mobile U.K version?

    thank you in advance.

Well, I've had the Wifi question answered by the guys at T Mobile, but the answer to the one about the PDF's is proving difficult to find on the internet, and it's obviously stumped you guys too...92 views and no takers...:-(

What happens if you long press on the received attachment, does it pop up with some options, like open with or something similar.

No, that option isn't available for some reason. It might be something to do with his mailbox behavior, as a work colleague gets the same emails, but he gets them displayed at the end of the email and he can just press the attachment which automatically associates itself with Acrobat, I believe.
