Unable to transfer video files using windows media player

    Hey Guys,

I am trying to transfer (sync) movie files (avi, mp4, mpegs) from my PC (windows XP SP3) using windows media player 11, the file drops into the sync column ok but after hitting sync it goes to convert but stops with an error saying either: Windows Media Player cannot sync this file. The Player might not support the file type, for the MP4s, and Windows Media Player cannot convert the file to the format required by the device, for the AVIs. I get that this could be a codec issue with windows media player but I know that SGSII supports both of these file types so why does it need to convert them at all?? These files sync fine using Kies but, for some reason, Kies freezes mid transfer sometimes and I have to reboot my PC to get rid of it. It seems that even having Kies installed on my PC kills my CPU usage even when the program isn't running. I have tested this several times and my PC runs fine when Kies is uninstalled, so this is why I would rather use media player. Please help, my missus is sick of me flippin out and breaking stuff everytime this happens

    Or

Connect in mass storage mode (Under USB settings on the phone or something like it), then using file manager, drag the videos across to the phone

    Easy as 1, 2, err, 4

I always drag and drop, and never bother to convert them, the SGSII will play pretty much most formats.
