I have only had my new Galaxy s 2 phone for a few months and ran a system update. after doing so, i can no longer set wallpapers to the landscape style, so on my main screen i can pan the picture as i flip screens. can anyone help me with this?

    The same problem for me.
I suspect it happened after I set wallpaper directly using Perfect Viewer. Now I cannot restore original landscape behavior

I'm thinking it was part of the update guys. It might have taken away that feature because my phone won't let me set scrolling wallpaper anymore either. Can anyone tell us how to get it back or un update the phone? That was my favorite feature. Or ford anyone have a number to call for support on this?

Add me to the list. After the firmware update, I lost the ability to have scrollable wallpapers.

so how do we make samsung aware of these problems cause my phone wont let me scroll the picture either. the new thing it does do is go from the far left scroll screen straight to the far right scroll screen with out having to go through all 7 scroll screens. but i would rather have my picture scroll.

Add me to the list as well; and it did happen right after the update.
I like using Worldscope's live webcam wallpapers, which are nearly all landscape, and now I only see a bit of the webcam image.

My phone gives the option for a scrollable wallpaper (under set as --> set as wallpaper, then you have to choose which orange frame and then check "scrollable wallpaper"), but nothing happens even after I hit "Apply". My homescreen wallpaper is still very much un-scrollable.

DEFINITELY happened after a recent firmware update to my new phone. I don't like it one bit because it reduces the wallpaper to a fraction of its original size. I hope Samsung fixes this ASAP because my personal photos, along with commercial screensavers out there are no longer useable in their intended size. This includes market HD screensavers that will no longer work in landscape or custom, no matter how many times you try. This sucks, especially if you PAID for the app that supposedly gives me that option and now doesn't function!! I REALLY hate this bait and switch stuff.

Got home last night with my newly purchased SGSIIE4GT. Spent a good part of the evening looking for a new wallpaper because a new phone simply requires a new wallpaper. Found a couple that worked really well with the seven different home screens. Decided I would play with them in the morning and decide which one I wanted to keep.

This morning I find that I have a system update waiting to install. Being the kind of guy who always wants his Android to be up to date, I hit the install button. After rebooting, I get a message that another update is waiting, so I gave it the go ahead as well. Once the two updates were complete, I went in to fiddle with my wallpapers and now I am no longer able to choose a "landscape" mode. I'm stuck with only selecting a piece of the image that sits static in the background.

Obviously, this is only a cosmetic thing but it seems like a stupid thing to take away. I'll assume it is a bug and that Samsung will prove to me that they are capable of maintaining a decent level of customer service and get the issue fixed pretty quick.
