    No Voicemail Notification anymore

I'm a new member and can't seem to be able to post a new thread. I have a Samsung Galaxy SII which has just stopped giving me notifications of voicemails both by sound alert and in the status bar. This has never been a problem in the past. I receive missed call and email notifications (both in the status bar and by sound alert) just not voicecall now. The messages are being received as they are there if I ring messge bank. I have turned my phone on and off and checked the settings, but I'm not sure what I should be looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please don't PM me this exact post, about not being able to post, after you have posted a new thread.

I apologise Tufftoad, it wasn't showing as a new post until just now. Thank you.

No worries, am not in the best of moods today so am trying to avoid the forum today. Have you checked your voicemail settings by dialling the voicemail and using their options menu?

Also check the sound settings in the menu screen, notification volume may have been turned down some how.

I only have the SGSI and there are hardly any settings under Menu > Phone Calls > Voicemail.

Thanks for your response Tufftoad but unfortunately there is nothing in the voicemail settings and the volumes are all okay

    Fixed

Well after 6 days of no voicemail notifications it is now working again. What did I do??? Nothing, absolutely nothing LOL Sooo, now my advice to fix things will be to leave it for 6-7 days and it will fix itself Fingers crossed it stays that way!

But thanks Tufftoad for your suggestion. The forum is great and while I was looking for threads to help my problem I came across other interesting things. I'm not a technie but heaps of information to be found. So thanks again.
