Hi there,
I have recently bought the Galaxy s2..slightly worried on the downloading of the 'free' games going thro the 'market' which was told to do.. I downloaded a game and several wall papers but then when i uninstalled and downloaded a different game i noticed that it said about permission.. and listing several different things .. the one or 2 that now worrying me are that it seems to say that and i quote: allows applications to access the phone features of the divice (which i assume is my mobile) An application with this permission can determine and phone no and serial no of this phone. whether a call is active, the no that call is connected to and the like... Now does this mean that who ever owns the game im downloading can access my phone and its contents... and another one said something about it having the permission to make calls using our phones.. plus a whole heap of other things too long to list.. so now im worried if i download a game thats free that the application can access my phone it says they can track where we are..It also does the same on wallpapers altho some say no permission required so im guessing this is the safer option. This all seems so wrong to me. If this is the case then def not safe to download anything thats saying its free as wont end up free at all if ppl can gain access to our mobiles... Does anyone know if this is the case or not...
many thanks in advance to anyone answering me
