    Latest branded vodafone firmware?

My partner needs to take her SGS in for repair, so i'd like to replace the unbranded FW she has at the moment with the latest official branded Fw from Vodafone, so as not to risk her warrenty etc. Can somebody post a link to download it? Thanks!

Have a look on samMobile.com, they have firmware for unbranded and branded phone. You will need to register first before you can download.

Well I've been all over samMobile.com and can only find the latest firmwares, they used to have a big list of firmwares.

I managed to find this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=846913 you may find what your looking for in here.

    Thanks Richard

These have also been posted on this forum, but the trouble is they are all (i think) stock FW's and i need an official Vodafone Uk branded FW. I know this is opposite to what most people want when they update, they just want a stock FW without the bloatware, but as we're trying to get the phone repaired on warrenty, i want to return it with the bloatware etc intack.

Could somebody post the PDA, Modem & CSC of the latest Vodafone update, then i will at least be able to search for it here on on XDA. I think it might be I9000BUJV9?

    Stuck already!

Do i need a Pit file with this?

The Tar file needs a password. Do i need this to unpact it, or do i putt the whole Tar file in the PDA section?

It's best to use a pit file if your unsure what pit it was on before.

The first un-zipping requires a password, which gives the files you need for odin.

    Thanks Doomed.

So i unzip it, and put the TAR file in PDA and use a PIT file, which one for this FW 512, 513 or 803?

I presume i don't need Phone and CSC with this?
