Can you get rid of stock dialler and contact icons?

Hi All,

Wanted to use Go Dialer as my main one on the phone as it has contacts etc built into it, but is there any way to get rid of the phone and contacts icons on the bottom of the screen. I mean from the initial screen when you start up the phone, as I can then just have go dialer there and get rid of both icons?

I dont know if this is a daft question or not...

PS thanks to everyone who helped me get my phone working again when I knackered it by deleting system apps etc.

You can if you use Go Launcher ex instead of touchwiz.

Would deleting TW launcher in titanium backup get rid of the icons on the front screen, and if it does how do I get go launcher in the place of them?

Download go launcher and set it as your default launcher, then you can set your dock icons as you want in the launcher preferences.

Get Go launcher Ex from market (if you haven't already). Also get an app called Home switcher.
When you tap on the Home switcher app it should list both Go launcher and TWlauncher. Set Go launcher as default and launch.

Don't even think about deleting touchwiz, if you do then your asking for all sorts of problems with your phone.

As ColinB has said, just download and install Go Launcher and set is as the default home launcher, then you can add the other apps in the Go range, like the Go Dialer.

If you use kies don't delete it. But if you if you want to get rid of it, it's a good idea to have a second launcher installed just in case (Like AWD, Pro Launcher. Both smaller than TW I think).

Why, it's a big problem when a launcher goes wrong. One reason I don't use Launcher Pro any more. It wouldn't update via the market, but needed updating to use the phone, which wouldn't connect to Launcher Pro's web site to update, which resulted in a factory reset or re-flash, can't remember which. Wasn't my phone either

Just freeze TWlauncher in titanium after installing go launcher it's fine.
