    Unhappy Speaker suddenly stopped working

Had SGS II for a month - great device - but suddenly in middle of playing audio the speaker went dead
Looked at forum to fix but no joy
    - turning off/on
    - speaker test *#0*#
    - putting headset jack in/out
Speaker won't work in phone mode either
Works as normal handset and with headphones.
Any suggestions please or is it a call to supplier for replacement?

I'd suggest a hardware fault from the info you've given.
I could be wrong, I usually am. (Because it's only a phone)

I have found a workaround for this problem. The problem relates to the headphone jack stuck in headphone mode. Solution: go to play store and search for headphone icon. Download the app (android man with headphones on is pic). Open up app and change headphone routing as required. Im sure Samsung will address this issue soon in a firmware release but for now this works for me
