Question about moving apps to sd card please help!!

    Hi guys,
I wanna root my phone but before I do I want to back up everything.
I noticed Kies doesnt back up Apps. I already backed up everything else.
Also I went into Settings and Manage Applications and moved/stored many apps to my SD card
BUT I have a lot of Apps that wont allow me to move to my SD card. The text is faded
and I cant click on the option to move to my SD card.

The Apps say "Stored under device (default)
How can I move them to my SD card?

    Thanks a lot!!

The apps will be saved to the internal Sd card (not external sd card) and should still be there.

You know you can just go ahead and root your phone, your apps will still be there no matter where they are installed.

Everything will still be there. Rooting just gives you admin rights to access system files.

Flashing a new version of android to your phone would most likely clear the data but you are not doing this.

I keep my contacts stored on my GMail account so they are easy to organise and can be synced back to the device at any time.

Still looking for an answer to - Why I am unable to move Apps to SD Card?

    Hi!

Why can't I move my Apps to SD Card. I get a message- "Failed to move application. Not enough memory" when I try to move Apps to SD card.
And there is enough space on my internal USB storage.
I understand moving Apps to SD card must work without rooting, and using the move to SD card option given by Samsung's Touchwiz, and also using other Apps that provide this option. I tried using both and I get the same failure message as above.
