Faster shutter speed.

I understand that one of the differences between the Nexus and the S2 is that the Nexus has a much faster camera shutter speed compared to the S2 (even my iTouch is faster than my S2 ). I was therefore wondering given the deficiencies that the Nexus has in comparison to the S2 is there any way to speed up the shutter speed of the S2?

I would suggest the delay you are experiencing is to do with the auto focus.

Try other camera apps and see if one is more suitable for your needs.

Also give one of the HDR camera apps a look for a clearer picture (although this takes even longer as it takes 3 images then combines them)

EDIT: Just had a quick look on the market and there are plenty of fast camera apps available. Take your pick.
