    Different Volumes?

Is it possible to set a different volume level for incoming texts and a different volume level for emails?

    Thanks

No, not really, well not from the settings menu.

Zedge from the market place may allow you to do so but am not sure. Alternatively you could use a loud notification for e-mails/texts and a quieter sound for the other?

I use zedge and have never been aware of any such option. All zedge does is provide the various tones you want. You set the volume within your phone.

    Hi all,

I've just got a Galaxy S2...but coming from an HTC Desire, I'm struggling with something.

There is a tickbox on volume on the Desire "Use incoming call volume for all notifications"...

How can I activate this on the SGS2?

So if I turn my volume to MAX - all notifications play the same loudness, if I turn it half, they all go to half...etc...

Go to - Settings, Sound, Volume. You will get the opportunity to set the volume for Incoming call, Media, System and Notifications separately....I don't know if you set them all to max the volume buttons affect them all in the same way....I think maybe not..Sorry.
