This is a MUCH better version and I would say suitable for everyday use.
The menu and return button light has returned, and generally runs a lot smoother with better battery life.

NOTE: The binary counter and triangle are not removed via the USB Jig as the bootloader has been updated to prevent this.
Intratech came up with workaround here and says:
'I've attached the old bootloader repackaged in a tarball for Odin. Anyone who's flashed the full firmware package and cannot reset their binary counter with a USB Jig, Flash this with Odin and then try the Jig.
Place tarball in the PDA section of Odin'

EDIT: Sorry the previous link didn't work. try this one:

Hi being new to all this I have just unzipped the file and haven't got a clue what bit goes where in odin. I am at work now and pc is at home so can't tell you what files they are but there seems to be more files than boxes on odin. Please help as it confuses the hell out of me. If you have the files unzipped yourself in hope you'll understand what I mean. Thanx, dusty

Cool thanx for that but isn't that what I'm doing, researching, gotta start somewhere we weren't all born computer whizzes. I have successfully flashed stick firmware via odin and rooted so for me this is the next stage.

Agree with you Dusty605. What better way to learn about your phone than to 'do' something with it.

Anyway to answer your question regarding Odin and files:
The information is all in the opening message, but this guide with screenshots will probably help:

    http://androidflip.com/how-to-instal...-s-2-gt-i9100/

Once you've done this, rooting is easy and gives you more control over your S2.
Go to Chainfire's site on XDA developers and find the root file closest to your firmware: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1103399

Hi... For those who are already using this verision, has anyone tried to use the Email App? My SGSII is already running ICS 4.0.3 XXLP2 and when I tried to set-up my Emails on the Email App, it always says "Connection Error". I tried to run other Apps like Skype and Gmai, also tried downloading games from Market to make sure my Wi-Fi is connected and I did not have any problem connecting.

    Thanks...

I had the same problem with emails so went back to 2.3.6 as I like my emails on my phone.. Other than that I didn't encounter any major problems.
