    Apps gone after Kernel flash!

    Hello,

I flashed my gingerbread to different kernels, to try (first voodoo then semaphore). But when i opened EXT4 manager and clicked convert to RFS, the phone went into recovery mode and started making backups. When it started up again all the downloaded apps where grey with an SD sign at the bottom (see attachment).

I can't open them anymore. What do I have to do?? I made a backup using Titanium backup, but I can't open that app neither (I can see the backed up files). I even can't use the Android Market anymore.

With EXT4 manager I converted RFS back to EXT4 but it is still not okay.

What do I have to do??

    Greetings, Bas

You have 104 apps or you have 104 apps that are missing?

Have you tired flashing the kernel that was originally on your phone?

    Here are several kernels:
    http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1225879

I flashed "Gingerbread 2.3.3 Kernel v1.2 - I9000 XXJVO" because i thought that was the original. (i looked at my phone stats afterwards)
    Is this an original one?

If you tried to flash a voodoo kernel on a stock rom then I don't think that will work. To use the voodoo kernel I think you need a custom firmware/rom that allows it.

I would flash entirely new firmware so that you get your phone back to normal and then root it so you can Titanium Backup to restore your apps.

I would sign up to SamMobile.com and download the firmware from there.
