I don't but the lack of ROM argument, Ours is still bigger than most phones out there and the same as the SGS EyeEye. I could believe the RAM argument, but I don't think its down to numerous Google customizations either, more like Samsung and network stuff, which can be removed.

Those were my thoughts to. So every one that has the S needs to do the same as the ones who had the HTC Desire, become very vocal and show your disapproval, and may be samsung will bow to the masses.

It's probably more to do with Samsung pushing sales of new devices than any technical reason. We all know the i9000 is more than capable of running ICS. I mean the Xperia can do it for gods sake.
