Help ! phone thinks it is unlocked but isn't

Got a UK sgs2 on 3 yesterday, but I needed it unlocked for Orange
First thing was to root the phone, its on K18 and 235 no problems there
Tried galaxy s2 sim unlock and no codes found
Tried Galaxy S unlock and all that did was remove prompt for code
    restored saved EFS
Paid £15 to a mobile unlocking company, code worked for approx 2 minutes and now no prompt for code again, 3 sim still works, luckily I have a saved EFS so can get back to the code unlock screen if needed. Have now done it about a thousand times lol
when i put in *#7465625* it says everything is off next bit of confusion I tried a tesco sim in it and it works with that but not Orange, tried 2 Orange sims just in case
Found these #7465625*638*CODE# (or *#7465625*638*CODE#) or #0111*CODE# and none of them worked
I do have an unfeeze code as well, I was considering freezing the phone on purpose then unlocking it but I am scared that it doesn't work

Seems like Orange are doing something non-standard with their SIMs? (And I wouldn't put it past them tbh)

If this is true, then T-Mobile won't be far behind.

    reply from mobileunlocked.com
It is not possible for a phone to be locked AWAY from a network, only TO a network.

Your phone is not network locked, and that is definitely clear because it works on several different networks.

Whether Orange have a specific block on the phone, or the Orange SIM cards are faulty, or something else is wrong altogether is not something we can detect remotely. I would strongly suggest you call Orange and ask them, being sure to explain that the phone does work on both O2 and Three.
