With a bluetooth headset on, I have to touch the handset several time to answer calls

When I get an incoming call on my Sprint Galaxy S II with my Plantronics Voyager Pro headset, I have to press answer on the phone, then hit keyboard, then hit 1 to answer the call (which is ridiculous, especially if I am driving). Is there a way I can set the phone so I can answer calls just by tapping my headset like all other phones I have had in the past?

The phone should allow you to accept the incoming call by just pressing the call control button according to THIS (pg.11). Can you do voice dialing from your headset?

I am using Jawbone Icon and it just work out of the box without any need to set the settings, so I think it should be same for any other BT headset.

My Voyager Pro worked normally on my other phones but not on this one. With this phone I have to touch the phone and press 1 to pick up.

It was Google voice options that was causing the call screening!

When I tied my Google Voice to my phone number the defailt was to screen all the calls, reset the options and now everything is fine!

hey! i have recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy ACE GT-S5830 (Android Version: 2.3.5) and i try to connect it with my car(Mercedez B-class) using bluetooth. everything seems to work well except when i receive a call i can not hear the sound from the car's speakers and i only listen it from the phone's speaker. However i tried with an Iphone and it works properly. It seems to be an issue with my Samsung GT-S5830 phone.
    could you please help me?

@caxton: Glad you got that sorted and thanks for letting us know, this will certainly help others with the same problems.

@Kostas: I don't own a Galaxy Ace but I think they should be operate the same. Once your phone is connected to your car, on your phone go settings > wireless and networks > bluetooth settings > under bluetooth device, press and hold your BT device > options and tick Phone(User for phone audio) under profiles.
