Question SIM Toolkit / MagicSIM Dual Sim Card Adapater / 007 - HELP!!!

    Hey folks,

After a Google search, I came across this website and thought I'd ask my question but before I do, I'll give you a brief snapshot of what lead up to this post.

I recently purchased a dual sim card adapter (http://www.magic-sim.com/product-details.php?Product=9). Everything was going fine until I started snooping around the "SIM Toolkit" menu option on my phone. Traditionally I would select "SIM1" for my initial sim card, and "SIM2" for my secondary sim card.

Anyways, last night I was looking through the SIM Toolkit menu and I was curious as to what the "007" feature was so I clicked on it. Now I no longer see "SIM1" or "SIM2" and am unable to toggle between both of my sim cards. I have to literally remove a sim card and insert the other sim card to toggle between the two sim cards (which sucks!). I have also performed a master reset (lost everything) and it still won't revert back.

Curiousity may not have killed this cat, but it sure made me irritable. I haven't been able to Google a solution to this problem. Has anybody else encountered this problem and been able to fix it? If so, how?

Why don't you simply explain this glitch to MagicSIM support and ask for the solution?

btw, the same you linked works good as per testimonials from people who use it with SGS II: http://www.magic-sim.com/product-details.php?Product=9

    Fevves...

I did contact MagicSIM about this problem. It took them a while to get back to me with the solution, but they were able to fix it. Still not sure what the "007" feature is BUT for anybody who happens to be stuck like I was, here's the solution :

    1) Make sure the MagicSIM adapter is in the phone with both SIM cards in each respective slot
    2) Go to your phone dialer app.
    3) Dial "007" (without the quotations)
    4) A message should appear about the SIM card being changed/updated (or something along those lines; I forget the actual message it gave me on the bottom of my screen).

NOW it should work like it did before.
