Not sure if it's been mentioned before but if you have root access, you can remove the anti-malware part but leave the invisible anti-theft part installed. Genius

Have Samsung Dive registered, decided to try it just by pressing Ring My Phone, did it? No, just said connecting to phone and nothing! So I requested call logs, again nothing!

Had you left it long enough to register the phone's location? The first time I tried it took a while but it did it OK afterwards.

I did test Samsung Dive when I was on stock firmware and it did work pretty well. That was a couple of years ago though. I'm still using the Avast anti-theft, but I have to re-install it once a week as I flash a new nightly build of cyanogenmod.

It's high time I got myself a shiny new phone, but for the moment it's nice to know I have at least some security on my trusty old i9000

I'm so glad you said that - I don't feel so old hat any more - I'm still on my trusty I9000 despite it falling in a river and then a canal - me with it
