So apple just got told they dont own the name ipad, its actually owned and registered by Proview Technology

Kinda, Proview Technologies owns the 'iPad' name in China so if Apple decide to sell the product in China they will have to call it something else. I think anywhere else in the world will be fine.

Shame though, would love to see Apple have to rename it's products.
