well, the biggest advantage of rooting may be actually the fact that you can grab a screen from your phone - so I rooted the bloody thing, now, what software do you use for screenshots?![]()

I rooted my phone last week and applied the lagfix. It's like I have a new phone! Anyway, today I did something -I don't know what, but the phone took a couple of screenshots! I don't know how it happened either! I was fooling around with the camera, taking a few pictures and looking at them in the gallery. I must have activated something!
I have not downloaded any apps for this purpose -I am sure of that.
Is there a way of taking screnshots -does anybody know??
If on Android 2.2 or above (I think) Press and hold the back button then press the home button and it will tack a screen shot![]()

Thanks for the tip!! That's probably what I did. The screenshots were in fact saved in a folder called "screecapture".
Dropcap2 works great for me, havent tried anything else
The back and home button, seems to work with a load of Samsungs as it worked with my GF's Samsung Wave
I originally read about it here so I'll give credit where it's due :-)
