screen lock time vs. screen time-out time

    Hey guys,

    Im all new here.
I read several places in connection with the new 2.3.5 update it will be possible to separate screen time-out time from screen lock time. So that you screen would go dark after fx. 15 seconds and lock after 60 seconds.

Any one who knows how to do that??
    It would be very appreciated!!

    Amir,

Welcome! I am new here also...

To answer your question, Go to Settiings>location and security. Scroll down to the 'Screen unlock settings ' sections and you will see the 'Timeout' menu header. Click on this to change the settings for the lockout.

To change the amount of time it takes for the screen to 'go dark' go to Settings>Power saving mode. Scroll down to 'Power saving mode settings' and under that (about 7 topics down) you will see the 'Screen timeout' menu. Tap that to adjust your settings for the screen to go dark...

    Good Luck!!
