Where is your phone from? Only certain models have nfc integrated
Just download "z-Device test" apps from market and run it. It will shoe all apps present at your device.

I doubt a european model has got nfc.

Look on the box it came in and see if it says it? Or try and use the nfc somewhere, which I doubt you are going to do very much if you don't even know how to.
Whatever model you have either from netherland or form sapin "z-Device test" apps will show it whether you have nfc or not.
