    Adding new contacts

When previously adding a new contact I was given the option to add aditional numbers as in mobiles ect; Now I find that option unavailable, I'm only able to add a home phone number and email address. I've not knowingly changed any settings so any suggestions to recitfy this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Leadscout and welcome to the forum.

Are you adding contacts to your sim? Add them to your Google account for more options.

Plus, you never lose them when changing phones or if something happens to the phone you have, and you can access your contacts via GMail on your PC.

When I type in my number on dialpad > click add to contacts > click the + sign next to the search field > a pop up screen appears with Phone/Sim/Google asking me where I want to save the contact to.

I'm having a similar problem - When I am in my contacts and press the + button to add a contact, it only gives me the option to add their name, phone number and email address. I have been adding new numbers into google and then syncing but, honestly, this is really annoying. When I went to the T-Mobile store, two of the staff had the exact phone and when they pressed the + button, another screen popped up that I'm not getting. How do I get that extra screen so I can add my contacts complete information?

Hello PapaNewsGirl, welcome to the forum.

Try contacts > menu > more > settings > save new contacts to. Then either set it to always ask or chose your google account.
