I asked sensible questions that you could easily find with a Google search and got the brush off each time, ie similar to the answers Doomed got, that were unrelated to my questions.

    So I uninstalled.
I could be wrong, I usually am. (Because it's only a phone)

I found a couple more apps like Iris.

    1. speaktoit. https://market.android.com/search?q=...it&so=1&c=apps

    2. Eva voice assistant. https://market.android.com/details?i...=search_result

Both are way better than Iris.

Siri isn't something I would ever really use, but I can see the attraction for some, thanks for these links though as I am new to android and got lots to catch up on...

My other half has the iphone 4S with that annoying Siri (which she does use!... Grrrr... often!!)... and talking of my other half - this Funny Siri Commercial Parody kinda hits the mark and very funny!! :0)

I gotta say, i have tried Jennie. I think she was released before even iphone 4s came to life, It's awesome especially with the new update does everything you want her to do.

Beside she is way funnier than Siri =p. But there is one problem, Jennie developers should have better server for their app, cuz siri's responses are way faster than my Jennie.

There are two versions, Free version and paid one, i have tried the paid one and it's totally worth it.

If you've got to have one such app, I'd say SpeakToIt is the best bet - at least it's getting updated from time to time and improves markedly each time. Like Siri, though, they're all a bit gimmicky and will not replace good old finger power!
