    Disabling notifications when playing music?

Is there any way of stopping audible notifications when playing music on the S2? I find the pause in the music and beep really annoying, but can't find a way of switching it off.

Menu > Settings > Sound > Notification (Slide the bar all the way to the left)?

Are you using a different version of android to me? Under Notifications I just have Notifications Ringtone. No other options.

I have found one solution which is to put the phone on silent, that seems to work, however it means I dont get notified of a call, which I do want. I just want to be able to disable email and text notifications. Any other ideas?

I have an SGSI, the options maybe different.

Go into your e-mail app and turn of the alerts from there and do the same with texts? Each app should allow you to set alerts from within the app.

Thanks, that does it. Not exactly ideal, as it means no notification now, but better than nothing.

You may also be able to set notifications from within certain apps, so only notifications from that app alert you.....maybe? Try Zedge from the market place.
