    BT Infinity WiFi connection issues

Hi - hope someone can help?

I have just had BT Infinity installed in my house. However, I very often jump online using my Samsung Galaxy Apollo GT-15800 phone quite regularly using WiFi from the BT Infinity hub. Previously, on my old BT home hub the WiFi was really good and it hardly ever dropped out whilst in the house, but since having Infinity installed it's acted a bit odd with my phone. For example, whilst surfing on my phone the WiFi will be fine for 4 - 5 minutes and then suddenly I would get the old "unable to display webpage" message. However, the WiFi signal still seems to be strong and the connections doesn't appear to have been lost. Also, it doesn't seem to make any difference if I'm sitting right by the hub, I still get the same problem. To kick start it again I have to turn WiFi off on my phone then turn it back on again. It'll be okay for another few minutes then same thing will happen again.

My son uses his ipod like me but doesn't appear to have the same issues, and my other son has an Apple Mac, which he connects to through WiFi and that appears to be working fine, which makes me think it's something to do with my phone. However, it's definitely only been like this since having Infinity installed. Do I need to adjust my WiFi settings at all?

Getting very frustrating - any help would be gratefully received, please (in lamens terms).

    Many thanks.

Forget connection on phone. Restart router, then reconnect. This should help.

    Thanks for the response.

I've tried resetting the hub and router but still having the same problems. Still think it's to do with the settings on my phone as I'm the only one in the household having these problems.

    Any other ideas?
