    Think i'm boned....HELP

Just used the tut to debrand my Orange S2 using all the files contained in the tut.

However upon restarting (odin says pass btw) it says certain programs force close, 1 of which is as follows.

The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

Also i can no longer get the dialer up to check the csc. Basically i can access email music etc but no phone calls.

Please tell me i haven't bricked this phone. Any help would be welcome.

EDIT: I'm guessing i shouldn't have used the debrand o2 tut (which is what i did...)
I was on the latest orange official firmware. and i'm in the UK if that helps.

You haven't bricked your phone, the matter that it still boots up shows that it's working. There's something wrong with the software.

I would carry out a factory reset first, go into recovery menu and carry it out from there.

If that still doesn't work I would then flash the software again. (.pit part deleted as per DSA's observations).
EDIT: Did you register your IMEI number as in step 8 of this tutorial? - This should fix your CSC problem.

No didn't use pit. Also as i said can't open the dialer to complete step 8. The firmware i used is in the hotfile link in the tut. Tried to reflash, same result. How would i access the recovery? If you mean down vol+menu+power i did that too.

Didn't see any mention of clearing cache, so now you've lost me lol

Fyi it would appear i can still receive calls. How odd.

I think I may have a solution, download Nitrality App from the market place. Open the app and then select Change CSC Code. Effectively the app should carry out the IMEI command for you, whether you will still have trouble carrying this out due to the Dialler (essentially an app) I'm not sure but worth a try.

No superuser has gone, but all the other crap i had remains Nitrality closes without the root access.

Never let it be said that when i screw up I make sure i don't do a good job of it lol.

ok will try. got to root the phone again first as it is asking for root access. I assume the files i have to root are still applicable.

    I'll let you know.

Edit: Well i can't root. don't know if it's the wrong insecure file but it hangs in super1click after starting daemon. Just says waiting for device.

I downloaded the latest Orange BVKE2 Stock Kernel and Orange firmware: PDA:BVKE2|PHONE:BVKE2|CSC:ORAKE2 from XDA. Is it worth me trying to flash with these to see if it will restore? If so I put the firmware in the PDA tab but what about the Kernal?

If you have the Superuser App in your app list then you are rooted. Nitrality will ask for root permission, just allow it.
