It's effectively a different program, Kies Air is mainly for transferring media wirelessly where as Kies is the fully supported companion software.

If it's stopped working all of a sudden then it's highly likely that it'll start working all of a sudden.

Can you achieve what you need to achieve in a different way? What are trying to do?

Try different USB ports or try a different cable?

Take a look at this neary thread

My USB link also suddenly stopped.

    Try the solution posted here:-

    http://samsunggalaxysforums.com/show...-with-S2/page2

Out of curiosity I tried it again whilst writing this msg. It was a struggle. I first forgot to close down all other apps on the S2. I have a Task Manager on my home screen to check that. I then turned off Power Saving and Screen blanking. I then start Keis and pop the S2 into the desk caddy making sure it is not locked. The PC saw the linked S2 within about ten secs and Keis a few seconds after.

It would help if you tell us whether you did and whether it works, please.

"Please advise what should I do?"

Read my message and then tell us where you get stuck. That is why we offer advice. We can't help you at all from what you have just posted.

Hi. I too had the connection problem, but a hard reset fixed it.

It can't be seen in device manager and it doesn't appear like a drive like it did in the past. It also can't be seen by Kies so I can't transfer or backup files. I've tried the USB debug mode but that does nothing. Has anyone else had this issue or recommend something I can try to resolve it?

    Thanks

ON YOUR S2 OPEN THE DIALER AN TYPE IN....

    *#7284#

    you will see ...

    UART
    MODEM
    PDA

    USB
    MODEM
    PDA

UNDER USB (if it already selected) to PDA Click MODEM then RESELECT (CLICK) PDA

ONLY repeat "ONLY" Change the USB SETTING

Then press Back. Now try connecting via USB............Should Work.....
