If you are rooted and can locate system\media\audio\ui, try renaming the tw_battery_caution.ogg file to tw_battery_caution.ogg.backup.
Chaning the file name so that the device cannot find the file. This should work.

Don't think so, a 3rd party launcher may allow it though.

You will probably need to buy a new router? which one do you have?

is changing that file possible without rooting? i rather not do that. maybe some program?

the router is a sitecom wireless router. i am 2 floors higher, from a distance of about 7m i get poor or no connection. connection is ok at 1 floor higher, at about 3,5m
    is this normal?

in 'my files' i see a lot of files, most without any files in it. can i just delete these? which ones can i certainly not delete?

You have to be rooted, I wouldn't have specified otherwise. It's a system folder, Google don't want people messing with it hence rooting.

Read this thread - What Wireless routers Do You Use. - I would post wifi questions here. The general idea is that you may need another router in addition to the one 2 floors below.

What are 'these'? My files is a file system explorer, it shows all files contained within your device so you need to be specific.
