I've been having trouble with Kies for ages. I have intalled it on my PC at home, but can't get the phone to connect. I can put things on my phone from the PC if I treat it as an external hard drive but thats it.
I managed to get it working on my PC at work. I think the trick is to NOT update it when it gives you the option.
It affected my A Drive though. It kept clicking as if I had put a floppy disk it and I couldn't stop it. I had to go into Device Manager and disable it. What a terrible programme. I'm going back to a Nokia next year when my contract runs out. Had enough of the short battery life, GPS not working, Black screens,etc, need I go on.
