[UPDATE:video and review] Sandisk 64GB Micro SDXC card - confirmed working in SGSII

One user at XDA has confirmed its working once you format it Fat32 (default is exFat). I will confirm or refute this once my card arrives within the next week.

UPDATE: All the details are here - http://www.androidnz.net/2011/09/san...confirmed.html

I'm sure I just read yesterday on android central or similar that it isn't compatible, I thought that meant design wise not just file system. Can't be cheap either I suppose.

According to Sandisk themselves its not compatible, but there are user reports that it works fine once formatted to Fat32.

I need more storage and the money's been saved a long time for this so I'll have a punt. If it doesn't work now it will likely work in my next handset, until then it'll just go in a card reader and be a large pen drive for me.

Just got my 64GB Sandisk Micro-SDXC Ultra transferring data from my old 16GB Sandisk Micro SDHC... pretty slow on writes speeds compared to 16GB card but makes up for it capacity.

Upgraded to Ice cream sandwich and the phone is fine. Brilliant in fact. Now that i have got 64gb Sandisk I have problems.
The phone recognises the card but I cannot get app2sd to move the apps to the the card.

    Any suggestions?

I have formatted the card on OSX, I have formatted on the phone and same result - the storage states 59.36GB.
