Social Hub won't send emails

I have set up my gmail and NTL email through social hub as imap premium accounts and I receive all emails as "push" no problem at all, but, I cannot send any. The emails appear in my sent box but they are never received. The only way I can send emails is if I use the dedicated gmail app on the phone but I can't see how to set up my NTL mail account in that app. Please advise.... Thanks

Besides the dedicated Gmail app, there's also an Email app- the icon has an envelope with a red @ seal. Set up all your email accounts here and then you can also use it's email Widget

Thank you. That seems to work (even though I appear to get to the same place as I do through the social hub) however, when I email myself to check it goes into my spam box !!!!
