Samsung USB driver causing floppy drive to rattle

Hey guys, hope someone can here, installed the Kies software and the USB driver that comes with it rattles the floppy disk drive constantly!

Yes I have a floppy drive i'm an IT technician and sadly require it for some older machines.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I has the same issues as well. Putting the "CDMA Device Service" at services.msc at manual, and disabling
"HKCU:Run KiesPDLR C:\Program Files\Samsung\Kies\External\FirmwareUpdate\KiesPDL R.exe"
"HKLM:Run KiesHelper C:\Program Files\Samsung\Kies\KiesHelper.exe /s"
"HKLM:Run KiesTrayAgent C:\Program Files\Samsung\Kies\KiesTrayAgent.exe"

at CCleaner helps a little. However, when you start Samsung Kies, it takes longer to load and the floppy drive start to act funny again.

I hope Samsung fixes this soon.

I knew Kies was flaky, but managing to screw up a floppy drive that's just taking the p*ss all together...

Happened to me too. I disabled the floppy drive via the device manager to stop the floppy drive from constantly being accessed.

I thought it was only me who gets the weird floppy drive clicking issue. Aside from disabling the floppy, any proper solution? Maybe I shouldn't upgrade the Kies software? On top of this floppy drive clicking issue, My Kies software keeps crashing whenever I'm trying to sync. Anyone had the same issue?
