Calendar will not sync over air with exchange calendar

This one is really starting to annoy me now

I've got the Galaxy S2 and setup exchange, emails work find (annoyed that I STILL cannot sync sub folders automatically) but the calendar refuses to sync.

I've created entries on my exchange calendar and on the phone and neither entries appear on the other. I've even force synced and when I do the sync icon comes up and within a blink of an eye it goes again.

I've tried clearing the data as suggested in another forum post here but that didn't work. If I dock the phone to the Kies software (Load of sh!7e) then I can manually sync that way but I need to keep my exchange calendar separate.

Another thing to note is when I go into the calendar on my device I only see My Calendar, I used to see Google Calendar but that has now vanished and I'd expect to see an exchange one there.

Please help work are harassing me to sort it out!

I've never needed to sync the calendar but have a tips section on my thread:

Calendar syncing should be straightforward; Use the ‘Google Calendar Sync’ applet from Google (free) and that’s it! Android will sync back and forth with no issues.

Sounds like you should get the Google Calendar app if you're missing it.

Hi there... I found how to solve this problem on a on a different Forum... just turn on the 'Auto Sync'. Unbelievable but that is it. I had turned off the Auto Sync to save bandwidth charges while I'm out of WiFi range and it seems that is exactly when my calendar stopped 'synching'. Once I turned on the 'Auto Sync' it started to work and all my events from Exchange now show up.

I still can't find how to Auto Sync Outlook Sub-folders - Unfortunately for me, my mail still remains very 'Gmail-like'... the Inbox synchronizes fine, but sub-folders have to be done manually. If anyone knows a work-around for this, please let me know, otherwise I may need to consider getting a Windows phone.

    Cheers...

I am having this exact same problem, contacts, tasks & emails sync fine calendar suddenly stopped syncing, Auto Sync is selected. I have gone through and deleted the account and set it up again multiple times and am still having no joy. Has anyone got any fixes for this as I really need my calendar to sync
