as of today I cant open the market app, been working fine, suddenly refuses to open.

Have you done anything to the phone since the Market last worked?
Worst case is that you uninstall the market: Menu > Settings > Applications > Click Market > Clear Data > Uninstall
Open up google and search Android Market.apk, download the file and put on your phone, use my files to select the apk and it will install the market place on your phone.
problem solved, decided to start working again.

Maybe the market closes of a Wednesday afternoon, like some shops used to do back in the day.
Makes perfect sense.
I could be wrong, I usually am. (Because it's only a phone)
