Best way to organize music compilations

I was wondering what is the besr way to organize compilation for music. i have some that i listen to but i also have lots of albums by a single artist. when i view my music by artist i end up with hundreds of artists with only one track. i know on an iphone if you select "part of a compklation" they wont show on the artist page. Is ghere a way to do this on the galaxy? Or what is just the best way to organize music that contains compilations?:

might not help you but i add songs one at a time and not full albums then i can add them to my playlist

I have albums and single songs on my SGS. For albums I keep all the music for that album in it's own directory with a picture of the album cover.

All my single songs are Dubstep so I use MP3Tag to tag all the single songs as the same album name, 'Dubstep'. This way all my single songs appear under the Dubstep Album and I just select that rather than artist.

Edit: If you have an album with more than one artist on and you view by artist, then you will have lot's of artist names. Which is why I group all single songs with the same name 'Dunstep', Misc' or 'Loose songs' etc.
