    I do believe that there are apps you can get in the market that allows you to unlock your phone ...

    I could be wrong though.

    You should unlock your Samsung Galaxy S2 if you want to switch network.I cannot see the link you have specified but there are unlock code providers who unlock our mobiles permanentaly.You can get unlock code for your mobile from NO ADVERTISING ALLOWED and unlock it from the network to which it is locked to.
