    Connecting To a Pc

    Can someone tell me the best way of getting music and video off my pc onto my Galaxy S if i use Kies when i connect the usb cable when that program is running my phone just goes nuts and starts flashing on and off and then goes dead there has to be a simple way to transfer stuff

    I dont know what phone you are using...

    Hi dude.

    I dont know what phone you are using or what version of Android. On i9000 running Android 2.1 you can go to Settings -> About Phone -> USB Connection. Set this to Ask on Connection - Then plug your USB cable in. If you choose SD-card you have to mount it via the top drop down menu and press mount. This will connect your SD-card as a normal harddrive and then you are good to go.

    This may work on other phones too.

    When you have set it to Ask on USB connection plug in your USB cable. Choose Mass Storage from the menu. In the drop down menu there will be a USB Connected message - click on that and choose mount.
