It looks a nice bit of kit, shame you have to pay extra for the keyboard though.

I was playing with these Tablets today I need a small laptop, but netbooks just arn't powerful enough

I only played with the ones with Android v3, but they all seemed a bit laggy, even the SG 10.1" Tab. Which was nice, so was the Transformer one

I have to admit, lag is one of my primary concerns... Hmm I don't know! Perhaps I should just put up with my crappy Dell -.-

They won't I'm afraid as they are built for portability and mainly battery life! Intel Atom and 1-2gigs of RAM is all you're gonna get in the ultra portable/netbook range.

Asus do a few dual core 2s which look quite nice but again, not enough power

A bit off topic (sorry) but if you want a small laptop with power get the new samsung 9 series

One sexy bit of kit, it's thinner than the Macbook Air and has the new i7s and a bucket load of ram too, only problem is that it's £900+ for one!

2GB of Ram and 2GHz CPU should be ok

That doesn't look to bad. It'll need to be OC and that horrible OS removed

I can confirm that the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer is indeed a worthy replacement of a laptop. I am sat here typing away on it rather merrily right now and never enjoyed using an Anroid device quite so much (sorry SGS!) ...
