Can't take photos off my galaxy S2

    Hello,

I can't take photo's off my SGS II anymore. I used to be able to take them off by going to my computer -> phone -> dcim -> camera
But when I click the Camera folder, it seems like the phone automatically reconnects to the PC so all the windows close. Using "Samsung choose" don't help (the program).
Sorry for my shortness, but my previous message was done and then I had to relogin and retype it all!

I hope you can help me!

Your help will be much appreciated!

Try to change USB port, change Cable, its not necessarily Phone Issue.

Hello, thank you for the reply.
    This does not work.
I also tried a firmware update, which works, but it asked to do a back-up of files so I clicked yes. But even then the phone seems to flip out and reconnect as soon as the program tries to copy the pictures. As it says the phone was disconnected, and the cable is in. It just reconnects to the PC for some reason suddenly.

    Regards

What OS platform are you running on your PC? Vista or Win7?

Also what is Samsung Choose? Do you mean the connection mode? If so just select ? USB/Mass Storage Mode.

If this doesn't work then you may have issue with your USB drivers.

I use windows 7 64bit. Samsung Kies - it's a program, probably only for dutch users then. Anyway, I doubt it's a problem with drivers, I never had problems before? Suddenly my drivers don't work anymore?
Kies Air, I will try that. I will go on vacation now though, so I will report back next week!

    Hello.

I've tried Samsung Air (bluetooth) but it doesn't work.
The program does, but when it tries to load pictures the phone again automatically reconnects to the computer. So I still am unable to go in the Camera folder.

Kies Air is an app which connects your phone over wi-fi, not over a physical connection or through bluetooth.

Download Kies Air from the Market if you don't already have it. When you're on wi-fi, make sure your phone is not connected to your PC with the USB cable, then open the Kies Air app on your phone. It will give you an IP address - type this into your PC browser and a page will load with your photos / music / texts etc. You can then select photos and choose to download to the PC.

Sorry yes, you are right. It is indeed by wi-fi. I have tried that and could log on my phone, but it would still disconnect and reconnect when I open the camera folder.
