    GT-I9000T Password Issue

I forgot my password for the phone lock (made under settings). I apparently didn't sync the phone with the Google account right (not letting me reset through gmail).
Is there a way that I can get in to the phone without doing a hard reset? It brings me to a screen that says "insert password to unlock" and it has the keyboard underneath. I can enter a wrong password multiple times and it will just ask me to wait 30 seconds and then start over again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, please ask.

If there isn't a way to get past it, Is there a way that I can bypass the lock to transfer the videos, pictures, contacts, etc. to my computer (via u.s.b) so I can do the reset without losing all of the stuff on the phone? Thank-you.

I finally got tired of waiting, I've been trying to figure this out for over 3 days, and so I tried the "wipe data/factory reset" in the system recovery menu and guess what?...........It asks to "confirm password". What password is this talking about? Please Help Me.

I'm sorry mate but I doubt you'll get help like that on this forum.

I helped a guy on a different forum with a similar problem once (pattern unlock) and Samsung themselves were chewing my ass for doing it.

Yes, I'm sure you are a completely honest person and truly genuine, but for all we know you could have mugged someone for that phone. I know that is a horrible thing to say, but this forum can't (and shouldn't) give out info on how to bypass security.

    Sorry.

Alright, I understand that last post Goots, No worries. I did get the phone unlocked, I went and called Tech Support through the carrier (G.C.I) and they advised me once I got into the recovery menu and it asks for the "confirm password" screen to just enter anything. I did and it reset the phone. And surprisingly, almost everything was still there with the exception of the messages and the 3rd party apps previously added. So I am very happy that everything turned out fine.
