Post Samsung Galaxy S 5mp (daylight) camera photo samples with original download

Here are some daylight sample photos from the Galaxy's 5mp camera. Note I used only the default as it is settings. The camera is goodfor a 5mp snapper, not as good as my i8910 Omnia HD. But hey thats 8mp, so 3 more megapixels counts.

briggs,i know 8mp vs 5 but on a common setting like 2mp who wins? and how are things like shutter speed and motion blur, things we cant see on paper?

also another question, is the 5mp widescreen? cause the i8910`s 8mp wasnt.
reallllly look forward to what you have to say

2mp vs 2mp on the two phones, The i8910 would win. Larger senor. Its not widescreen, normal 5mp resolution.

    Hi, New to forum

Had phone for 9 days, love it!

Camera is poor at detecting white balance when set on auto, must I really manually set it up for every pic?

Is there anything I can do? or am I stuck manually setting it for the conditions?

Really great photos, man!!! Did you use default settings or moved with "adjust" or something? Thanks.

No, just the default settings. They have not been retouched, photo shopped or anything. Why not download the originals to see for yourself? Download them here: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?jofqczyn1di

Briggs, I liked your Photos but curious to see that your yellow flower photos were capture on a Samsung Galaxy S with a ISO of 50 ????????????? how did you manage that on a Galaxy S, as the lowest setting is only ISO 100 ?

I've being wanting a setting like this on my Galaxy S since I got it.
Also I'm hoping someone can do a App for Manual Focus for Photos and Video, the times the Auto Focus has gone past what would have being a ideal focus on a subject is well frustrating, DAM YOU SAMSUNG !!!!

    Anyhow good photos Briggs !!

I've worked it out, you need to set the Camera to AutoFocus and use a W - Wide Angle setting [4mp], this will drop the ISO down and will give you a slight improvement on quality.
